Monday, February 18, 2008 (all of my days i will sing your praises) EXAMS OVER LIAO!!! I WAN GO OUT!!! WHO WANNA GO OUT WITH ME??? After paper was suppose to meet Daniel Ng for lunch.. Waited for almost an hour.. In the end I left and gone home.. Turned out as I was on my way home, he just finished jogging with his frene.. LOL.. Then saw so many of my frenes pass by during the wait.. Could have gone watch movie wif my frene lor.. Then they go off liao........ Wa... But then again, as much as I am unwilling, God still have other plans for me.. He clearly revealed to me that I should go home.. I also dunno why but I just told him that I will just walk in faith lor, despite being unhappy about it.. So went home.. Then on the way home, I met my frene who converted from Buddhism to christianity and backslided and "reconverted" back to Buddhism again.. I asked him some questions and found some interesting things.. Q: How come you don't want be a Christian le? A: Cause not fun.... Q: So when you choose your religion, you see if it is fun or not? A: Errrrrrrrrr.... Q: So why you want to convert back to Buddhism? A: I dunno also, but if I need choose I prefer to choose Christianity, cause more fun. Q: So when you choose your religion, you see if it is fun or not? Am I right to say that? A: *stun* In the end I gave him a Satisfied booklet cause I reach my stop le.. Now thinking of it, was wondering if it was better to meet up with him just now for a while to actually go through that booklet.. Ahhhhh.. Nvm la.. Its over le.. We will leave the growth to God yep.. Was thinking of some questions after that.. How do you choose your religion? How do you choose what you believe in? Isit because of some truth? Fun? Suit you or not? Cause alot of people believe in it? For me, I believe in what I believe in.. And I have faith in that.. And I can testify to that I believe in a real and living God.. Its not just some God who people pray for blessings and then go on with your daily lives.. He is so real that I do not just "believe" that he exists.. I have a relationship with him.. I know him personally.. And I believe what is said in Ecclesiastes 12:14, "For God will bring every act to judgment, everything which is hidden, whether it is good or evil." And I believe that day is approaching.. And now is the time to repent, to give your life to God.. If you still have not.. For God loved us so much that he gave his only son Jesus Christ to die for our sins and to save us being eternally separated from him.. 0 comments |
