Monday, September 15, 2008 (all of my days i will sing your praises) Anyway, really talked about the galaxy and as they were showing the different galaxys in our milky way, and we were all jus wowed by its beauty. Comparing to earth, we are jus so small, and to actually think we are so big, all and mighty, in our car and house and all the possessions we have. No wonder God had to stop the people from building the tower of Babel. We really dunno how small we are, yet we are so prideful. We were so in awe of God's glory. His richest, amazing, and he can hold the universe at the span of his hand (Isaiah 40:12). The SPAN of his hand know!!!! OMG........ What a great God we serve, and do you know what? This God is willing to come, to our little earth into our little lives, to have a relationship with us. =O Here are some pictures. Now see this, in the middle of the whirlpool galaxy is its neucleus and inside it there is something called the X-Factor. Now look at it,  See the Cross? You can use your own imagination to say why isit there, but I guess its quite simple to say why its there I guess? The whole universe is jus filled with his Glory. WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Then something happened, which I want you all to remember also, a lesson to learn. We were watching some worship videos. And when after everything Dillon say tat NP has the potential to do something like this, and challenge us to do it, we forgot all about how we praised God proclamming that nothing is impossible with him. And we only saw the mountain infront of us. Amazing how quick we are to forget about God and to focus on tat mountian infront of us. Amazing eh. Father we confess our sins before you, forgive us on how we so often focus on the problem infront of us instead of you, how we so often tend to forget your richness and glory and instead choose to rather use our own methods to solve our problem. Forgive us Lord, and help us trust and to keep our focus in you. Will blog about it soon. =) 0 comments Wednesday, September 3, 2008 (all of my days i will sing your praises) And also noted certain things from Chronicles, well, abit of background first, when Israel split into 2 after Solomon's death, Israel forsook God and hence God forsook them as well (2 Chronicles 15:2b) and gave them up to their enemies, however for Judah, God saw some good still in that city and also because of his covenant with David, he was unwilling to destroy Judah. Realised that God forsook Israel up to a point where in Chronicles, not a word about Israel was mentioned except when Judah crossed path with Israel. For the King of Judah, I also realise that though the kings followed their father to turn away from their Idols and to turn to God, they did not follow God wholeheartedly lik David did, the high places of Idols are still standing - which was the key to their nation revival. And pride factor as well. Have been thinking, what on earth are they thinking? Cant they jus give the order to tear everything down, surely God is much greater than that. Then I realised its a family thing. In generations it has passed down like that, so with the high poles still standing, its a normal thing. And if want to cut it down, they fear what the people say and all. I am sure God also spoke to the kings in ways to cut down the poles, allowing his people to continue their sacrifices to Idols. Really, what on earth are they thinking man. Then i realised its also link to us. God calls for us to be holy, to follow him whole heartedly. And instead, we do mayb up to 99% of what he calls us to do. There are still things in our hearts that we do not want to let go to God. Hence, we cannot experience to the fullest. God, please help us to follow you wholeheartedly, reveal to us what is hindering us from seeing you, we thank you for your love and your desire to want to meet us too, we pray that you will give us the strength to cast down our Idols, thank you Lord, in Jesus name Amen. 0 comments Tuesday, September 2, 2008 (all of my days i will sing your praises)  Ok, I took that random at google, so shhh...And I had everything planned, the things to do and all, and I have one extra day? And Fri I am so gonna be dead. A LOOOOONG day. Oh my Goodness......... Saturday = flat knock-out, with any luck I will be dreaming and seeing stars Then after that week will be work already. And I will need time off occasionally too for worship prac for camp. Aha. And I will be playing drums for the first time in a "audience" setting. Lols.. Hope can? Ahahaha... Its Holi. Crap sia, part of me find it whoohoo, gonna be pack and busy, and another part of me is like. S***, why so many things. Cant we just get our emotions rite. Lols. Jus rantting away. I think the camp com is worse rite. Lols. But hey, you guys will reap the fruits of your labour soon.
